Thoughts on my very first spray tanning experience

Okay seriously .... my spray tanning experience .... was a SUCCESS!!!! This was my very first time getting sprayed. Hate to say it, but I've always been strictly a tanning bed/REAL sun kinda tanner. I had never even been sprayed in a booth before. I'll admit I was very nervous. While I come off as a somewhat confident person normally ... all of this weight gain (etc) has put a little spin on the way my brain thinks. I have no problem stripping down to na-da in front of the Hubby. Just me and him ??? I'll chill in my Birthday Suit all day long. I'll do my laundry naked. Fix a little dinner ... vacuum ... I don't care. But other than him and my OB ... NOT a lot of people have seen me BARE in ... well, a million years. SO yeah .... NERVOUS.
It helped that I was going with 3 other girls. Three other AWESOME girls. We were laughing and giggling and making completely inappropriate comments etc. So it was FUN.
The whole process took about 20 minutes. Maybe even a little less. The spray tan girl had a bedroom in her house just for her tanning tent. So not a lot of instructions needed. Go in. Strip down. Hop in tent. She’ll be right in.
Ever stood completely naked in a stranger’s house with the lights on … just waiting for them to enter the room ??? Longest 35 seconds of MY LIFE !!!
But she was cool. Talked to me the whole time and made me feel as comfortable as possible. Well, I felt comfortable AFTER I got used to the fact that her face was a foot from my va-jayjay starring it down making sure everything was sprayed evenly lol.
Twenty minutes later I emerged from the room with a VERY NICE Summery glow type tan and I LOVE IT.
Loved it even MORE the next morning after I darkened all the way up.
I could totally see myself stripping down a few times a month OR especially if I have some event that I’m attending. I will never be white and pasty at a wedding again!
I’ve done it in the booth but when I realized you meant with the person spraying you I got all nervous FOR you. I have yet to make that leap!
Yeah. It was a little nerve wrecking … but NOT as bad as I thought it’d be. I can check it off my bucket list. Get naked and have a girl spray brown liquid on my person …. CHECK! lol
