Day 2 – A photo of something you ate today.
I’ve been on a “cook at home” kick. Before last week, we had been eating out way too much. It wasn’t healthy and it was draining my bank account something crazy. So I sat myself down, made a grocery list, and actually made myself useful in the kitchen.

This is just grilled chicken with sautéed green peppers, onions and mushrooms with cheese sauce on top. One of my favorite meals .. especially when I’m on my low carb kick (like I am right now!)
Cinnamon rolls that I popped in the oven for the babies on their first day of School.
The most delicious meatballs in the entire world. Really REALLY good. Made my Husband fall in love with me all over again. Of course, I can’t take credit … I found the Recipe here. So BIG thank you to Meg for making my Husband smile.
Last night J grilled New York strips on the grill. I added some steamed carrots and broccoli and cheese and Voila! Dinner is served.
Now this isn’t exactly “something I’ve eaten today,” but it’s quite likely something I’ll eat later today seeing that my fridge is filled with yummy leftovers. Yummmmmmmmmmmmm.
