1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
This year I (almost exclusively) boxed and wrapped. Other year. Bags. Depends on my time frame.
2. Real tree or Artificial?
Super Totally FAKE. Real ones are too much work and never quite perfect shaped.
3. When do you put up the tree?
Normally the day after Thanksgiving. This year I jumped the gun and had it up 2 weeks before Thanksgiving.
4. When do you take the tree down?
Normally the day after Christmas. Like yesterday. But I’m breaking all of my habits this year and leaving it up until next weekend. I’m too dang tired to drag out all of those boxes and put everything away.
5. Do you like eggnog?
Honestly haven’t had any in years …. so I don’t remember.
6. Favorite gift received as a child?
Cabbage Patch Kids. Got them from Santa several years in a row.
7. Hardest person to buy for?
Boys. In general. Our Dads specifically. They buy any and everything they need or want … so it’s hard to find something they’ll like.
8. Easiest person to buy for?
My kids. Both of them. This Mama knows how to make her babies happy.
9. Do you have a nativity scene?
No.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Mail. The number of cards I send out has gotten smaller … but I still love sending them.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
Not even gonna go there.

ELF !!!!
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Late October, early November.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
Not that I recall. I do reuse gift bags though.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
BREAKFAST! We have an annual Christmas Breakfast at our house every year.
16. Lights on the tree?
Duh. Of course!
17. Favorite Christmas song?
My Grown Up Christmas List … and Do They Know It’s Christmas.
I sing them both … year round.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
I go to my Dad’s house on Christmas Eve.
But on Christmas DAY … I Stay.Home.
19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen. Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen.
And do you recall … the most FAMOUS reindeer of all …. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer….
So … yeah.
20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
I have an Angel … a Star … and Bows. I rotate.
This year is was a bow on my white light tree and a star on my colored light tree.
21. Open presents on Christmas Eve or morning?
Both. Christmas Eve at Dads. Christmas morning at home.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
Bah-humbug people who spew negativity and try to ruin the holiday for everyone.
23. Favorite Ornament theme or color?
All my homemade ornaments my kids have made over the years.
And my new Hello Kitty ornament I got for Christmas THIS year.
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner?
Heh. We all just bring a million different things to snack on and eat throughout the day. Don’t really have a sit down Christmas dinner.
25. What do you want for Christmas this year?
An iPad … and I GOT ONE!
