And let me tell you what, Baby Kassidy hasn’t even arrived in this big ole’ world and I am already head over heals in love with her. It’s just magical. The mere knowledge that a new baby is coming soon has changed the whole dynamic in our household. There’s something BIG to look forward to. Something (err someone!) to be excited about. Planning and purchasing. Priming and painting. New carpet and furniture. Doctor appointments and ultrasounds. Weekly photos and scrapbooks. Baby showers and birth announcements. And we are having FUN with every single little detail.

    31 weeks

    I’ve had several people comment that the amount of support I’m showing my Daughter (and Gbaby) is super cool and sweet. To hear comments like that makes me smile and warms my heart, but honestly, I don’t know any different. She’s my Baby Girl and this is just what I DO as a Mama. I’m a planner. I’m the girl that loves a project, a checklist and a goal. Planning bedrooms and a nursery and helping plan a baby shower ??? Music to my soul.

    So in all the years that I’ve been an Internet Junkie, I’ve heard the term “Mommy Blogger” a bazillion times. Now I don’t think that I’ve ever really been a Mommy Blogger, although I do talk about my kiddos quite a bit. I think I’m more of a “catch-all” blogger. I talk about everything. And anything. And nothing. I rant. I rave. I misspell and probably make people cringe at my grammatical errors. Thing is, I think this pregnancy and this baby, although she’s not ‘my’ child, is going to turn me into a Mimi Blogger. I have baby on the brain 24/7. All I think about is newborn pictures and clothes. Nursery wall art and color schemes. Baby registries and taking weekly photos of my girls growing belly.

    I’ve often thought that I wish I could of had my kids in this day and age. We didn’t have digital cameras and photoshop. Or the Internet and Facebook. I have maybe 3 pictures of my belly with either of my pregnancies. It’s just NOT what people did back then. So by golly, I’m living vicariously through my Daughter having HER Daughter … and I’m loving every minute of it.
