There’s this chick on Vox that does “Things on Tuesday” and I’m a total copycat. Of course, it might help if I FINISH a post and actually publish it on TUESDAY … but … yeah. I’m a slacker. Sorry.

I’m busy. Like super duper busy at work today. I’ve had emails and calls from friends that I haven’t been able to return. Of course, I could be doing that NOW, instead of typing this post, but that would make sense. And I’m not a fan of making sense. heh?
It’s hot. Like super duper hot outside today. I’m normally such a fan of Summer..but this year, she is kicking my ass. I’m ready for Fall. Maybe even Winter.
We’re doing some slight remodeling in our house right now. I was supposed to go to Lowes last night and get a bunch of supplies, but I hate going SO BAD that I talked myself out of it. Seriously, Lowes makes me bleed from the eyeballs. Not that I don’t like shopping for home repair type items, but Lowes just seems to always be a pain in my ass. They never have exactly what I want in stock. If you ask the sales guy a question, you get a 5 hour response that makes no sense. Nobody knows how to order anything without flipping through a 20 inch thick catalog and it takes them 2 hours to find one simple thing. It just sucks.
SO because I avoided Lowes, I found myself at Walmart this morning at 7am picking out paint colors. This is not an ideal way to start the day. Better than Lowes …yes. But still … ugh.

Totally Terrific Things on Tuesday

My son came to work with me today. While this has it’s moments of ..OMG would you please just shut up! .. it’s still terrific because my kid … is hilarious. At least he’s keeping me entertained while I pull my hair out from being so busy.
Tomorrow night, I’m going to the Rodeo and also going to see Lynyrd Skynyrd. Yup yup. Super fun.
I’m going to FINALLY get to watch Sunday night’s Big Brother tonight. I’m completely addicted to Big Brother.
T minus one week and two days before School starts!
T minus two days until my Bub’s Birthday! He may be half a world away, and I may miss him terribly, but I’ll still celebrate his Birthday with or without him … and I’m thinking a margarita sounds like the perfect birthday celebration
