I love mornings when I wake up hours before the rest of my family. My quiet peaceful time with just me … and my cat. Alex (the cat) has radar ears that perk up the second my feet hit the floor. He does a 3-2-1 countdown and heads straight for my lap. So cute!
So yeah. Alex and I are sitting here eating yogurt, drinking Smart Water and mentally making lists of things to accomplish today. Gonna be a busy one.
As soon as I hit publish, I must get ready and head into work for a couple of hours. Boss text’d me yesterday with some last minute deposition prep stuff that needs to be done … so it’s either this morning or Monday morning … and I’ve just accepted the fact that Monday morning hate me, so I’m not willing to risk being late and rushed getting it done.
So work. Then PLAY.
Leaving around 11 (hopefully) to head for the mall and do some power shopping! This is a must. I’m so far behind on my shopping (like seriously nothing purchased) and this stresses me out! ((PS..Note to Self. Do NOT forget to buy a camera battery charger while you’re out today. If you forget AGAIN … you will disown yourself and that’s not a good thing to have happen this close to Christmas. Just sayin..))
Then this evening, I get to watch my favorite little girl be a sheep in her Church Christmas play. Looking very much so forward to see her be cute and sing Christmas songs.
Followed by snuggle time on the couch with My Love watching (reruns probably) of our favorite shows and staying warm by our fireplace. I love me a fire. Warm, toasty, cozy … makes me feel happy and secure.

I love the weekend mornings here because it’s before my neighbors are awake, and the only time I really have any peace and quiet! I’m also enjoying wearing my warm sweaters in this cold weather and listening to Christmas music on the tv
I had a good Sunday! Put decorations up in the attic .. got Christmas stuff down. I AM missing some Christmas decorations and that’s not good. Hmmmm .. maybe in the shed? I’ll check. I did laundry. I changed sheets. I cleaned out extra room ( a little bit). I read a little bit. Napped. Then went to Church for AJ’s thing. SO glad you all made it. Have to have my other fam there
Everything is better on morning like this, I find that even my coffee tastes better:)
I wish I could make myself wake up super early on the weekends. I would be so much more productive.
Not sitting on my computer right now would also help.
