- Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze, Hayride – Will be doing this on Saturday
- Apple picking (also on Saturday if time permits)
- Bake an apple pie from scratch with said apples
- Make caramel apples with said apples
- ABC’s 13 Nights of Halloween on TV
- Rake leaves and jump in them … pretend my babies are still babies. They still LOVE leaves.
- Dust off my camera and take pictures of the beautiful leaves and scenery
- Go for a Sunday drive through the Country with my family
- Take evening walks in the cool weather
- Open the windows in the house as many days as possible. I love the crisp air this time of year.
- Get hay bails, pumpkins, mums, etc., and make a fall display for my front yard
- Paint pumpkins
- Carve pumpkins
- Take my family to the Zoo and to Grant’s Farm. Perfect time of the year.
- Bub! Home! On! Leave! All! Next! Week!
- Go to the Winery with my Brother next week while he’s home on leave.
- Have Chili night at my house (again next week while Bub is home). Invite the rents over and make an evening out of it.
- Bake oatmeal and peanut butter cookies
- Knit a baby blanket for my (soon to be born) Niece. I’ve started this (kinda) but I’m not very good at it yet lol.
- Get a group of friends together and go to a Haunted House. (Group is necessary because I’m a chicken and need lots of people who will make sure I get out alive! lol.)
- Have friends over for a bonfire.
- Make smores.
- Get excited over hoodies, cute socks and woobie blankets!
- Potluck with my Grandma, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins next weekend so everyone will get a chance to spend time with my Brother while he’s home.
- Finish watching past episodes of TrueBlood on DVD. There are 5 discs for each season, so 15 (discs) in all. I’ve got 6 done and 3 more on their way. Of course the last 5 of them (Season 3) haven’t been released yet … but I’m hoping they are … SOON.
- Finish reading the TrueBlood Series (on Book 4 now).
- Start reading the Harry Potter series. I watched her on Oprah yesterday. So I’m finally going to cave and start reading. Can’t believe I never did in the past.
- Buy myself a Sock Monkey Hat.
- Change all my Profile pictures into a picture of ME wearing said hat!
- Drink warm apple cider – complete with cinnamon sticks
- Make hot chocolate with way too many marshmellows
- Sit in the hot tub, late at night, with my Husband
- Spend a cold rainy day at home, in my PJs, reading and taking naps. No TV.
- Make roasted pumpkin seeds.
- Celebrate my Daughter’s 18th Birthday.
- Plan my Thanksgiving Day dinner recipes EARLY this year.
- Send out paper invitations to my Family for Thanksgiving dinner. (Cheesy, but fun!)
- Make Christmas shopping idea lists for my family (EARLY this year!)
- My Sister’s Baby shower in November.
- Baby Shopping (and Christmas shopping) in St. Louis with my Sister and Step-Mom.
- Start outfit shopping for Sissy’s Senior Pictures.
- Hand out candy on Halloween
- Spend time with my favorite 4 year old (AJ) Trick-or-Treating
- Get new candles for the house with Fall scents. (Cinnamon, apples etc.)
- Go ATV riding/camping at least once more this year.
- Pictures! Pictures! Pictures! Take more pictures in the next 2 months than I have the rest of the year combined!
