I had a friend email me earlier today and ask what my plans were for the week. I almost instantly emailed back to say that I had no plans – and then I got to thinking about things – and I have a lot of plans. Nothing big and important – but still …
I’m so far behind on processing pictures and videos, it’s not even funny. I have 6 memory cards total, and every single one of them has pictures/videos that have yet to even be transferred to my computer. It’s sad. I get so excited and take so many pictures, but then I do nothing with them. So this week I want to get all of my cards cleaned off, pictures cropped and edited, the ones I want to share uploaded on Flickr && Facebook and everything backed up on my external hard drive.
FOOTBALL season is here
Must remember to take my kiddo to School tomorrow afternoon to get his free physical that our local Hospital is offering. Every single year up until now, I’ve had to make an appointment with his Pediatrician and PAY for his physical because I forget to take him on ‘free’ day. Not this year my friends. Not this year.
My nephew’s 6th Birthday is Friday. He’s having his Birthday party at my Mother-in-Laws pool on Saturday. Must purchase gift. Must be ready to get my swim on with the littles this weekend.
My little Brother’s Birthday is next Thursday, but seeing that he now lives in Hawaii (don’t get me started on the jealousy issue there) I need to get his gift purchased and in the mail this week. Which brings me to – what in the world do you buy a 31 year old Navy boy who lives in paradise and wants for nothing. Hmmmmmmm.
For quite a while, I was actively reading and getting caught up on the stacks of books I’ve bought that are just laying around collecting dust. I was getting through a different book every 2 or 3 days and enjoying every minute of it. Then life hit and I’ve been slacking. This past weekend we went camping/four wheeler riding and in my downtime, I sat in my chair, in the sun by the river and read Kendra Wilkison’s book – Sliding Into Home. I just love her. After that I started The Help. (Notice that I love to read all different types of books!) The Help is amazing so far. One of the best books I’ve read in a long time. I’m not quite halfway through it, but I really really want to finish it up this week. After that I plan to knock out The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest which is the third book in a three book series. I can’t wait to read this one (since I’ve already read the other two) … but I’m still sad because once I read it, the story will be over
and it’s a GOOD story!
I’m sure there’s more, but those are the things that come to mind that I’d like to get done. So tell me, you guys have exciting plans for the week?!?

I hate when I feel unorganized! I am reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo now. I was reading The Help, but my friend Dena told me to put that on hold and read this series with her… but I am slacking with my reading all together.
I always love to see what other people are reading… I always go into the bookstore wanting something new but feeling overwhelmed. Let us know how The Help is!
Sounds like you do have a BUSY week!!!!
My plans are to try to get my kiddo to stay @ VBS!!
