If you’re new here, my name is LC (or at least that’s my nickname.) I’m 30-something years old and married to my Husband of 12 years (though we’ve been together for closer to 16). His name is Joe … and he pretty much rocks. Yup.

♥ My kids and my Husband – they are my world.
♥ my Family – all 900 of them.
♥ my true Friends – they know me, and love me anyways.
♥ getting mail – be it snail mail or email – blog comments or Facebook comments.
♥ the beach – it’s my happy place. The only place I feel truly at peace.
♥ palm trees – wish I had 10 in my own front yard. Damn Missouri weather.
♥ Jeans & T-shirts – I’m a casual kinda girl.
♥ flip flops – NEVER EVER heals. Seriously still in flip flops when the snow starts falling every year.
♥ my iPhone – she’s my BFF.
♥ the color pink – I prefer pink everything. If it comes in pink … I’ll take TWO please.
♥ kisses – the deep passionate kind as well as the quick on the forehead ones.
♥ getting my nails and toes done – my one girlie quality that I indulge in on a regular basis.
♥ road trips – on gravel AND those 12 hour car rides where I get to play DJ LC and keep everyone happy.
♥ the Internets in general – self diagnosed Internet junkie.

♥ Yoga pants && tank tops – my uniform whenever I’m at home.
♥ Taking naps – So relaxing. Counteracts my nighttime insomnia.
♥ Turtles – the coolest animals on the planet. Had 2 for a long time. I miss my boys.
♥ chapstick – BurtsBees is the shiznet people. Never leave home without it.
♥ texting – my God I’m a texting fool.
♥ finding little presents to buy for the kiddos in my life – unexpected goodies produce the best smiles in the world.
♥ READING – if reading was my job I’d be in heaven – True Blood Series Anyone
♥ my Canon Rebel T2i Camera – she’s my little baby.
♥ keeping up with politics and debating with the assholes who try to change my mind – seriously don’t approach me about politics unless you’re ready for an earful. I taking my vote privilege VERY SERIOUSLY.
♥ taking pictures of anything and everything – it’s a sickness .. and I love it!
♥ attempting to learn Photoshop so I can make my pictures better – not working out well as of yet.
♥ office supplies – I’m obsessed with calendars, pretty paper and post-its
♥ making lists -organization is the key to happiness
♥ keeping EVERY single scrapbookable item from my children’s lives – memories are VERY important to me.
♥ TIVO!! – where would I be without my Tivo – not a pretty thought
♥ Starbucks Strawberries & Cream Frappuccinos -Yummmmmy
♥ inventing new words that make my kids giggle – oh yeah … turnertuwere lol. (only my kids will get that.)
♥ my puppy Drew – he’s my third child

Together Joe and I have two babies … who are seriously no where near babies anymore, but I just can’t stop calling them “my babies.” It’s a sickness. I’m in denial. I’ll deal with it later. lol
Kristin is 18 and soon to be graduating from High School. She’s my quiet child who would rather hang out with her friends ANY day than chill at home with her Momma. Which, I suppose, is quite normal for her age. I don’t talk about her a whole lot on here, because I TRY to respect her privacy. The occasional mention will happen tho.
Taylor (or T or Tatum) is my son. He has quite a few nicknames. He’s 14 going on 24 and will be the death of me one day. He is the polar opposite of his sister and is quite possibly the most outgoing person I know. He HATES being indoors and is constantly on the go. He plays football and loves hunting, fishing && he and his Dad are soooooo into riding their 4-wheelers it’s ridiculous.
What else?! We own a business. I have my own separate job as well. We have two dogs – one of whom recently became totally blind so he is quite a lot like having a 3rd child. Ohhh and a cat that somedays I’m convinced is descended from Satan himself.
